Our CrossFit Critical Mass Athlete of the Month (AOM) for July 2016, goes out to one of our most committed athletes this summer, Jenny Sciadini.
She has shown consistent effort and dedication every time she walks into the gym. In only a few short months, she has made tremendous improvements and strides, which can only be attributed to her hard work and determination.
Some of her accomplishments this year include getting her first toes to bar, getting her first pull-ups and most recently being able to string multiple at a time. Also, she flipped her first tire and did her first rope climbs, including multiple in a workout. She is now one of the best box jumpers, despite first being afraid and hesitant of the wooden box. One of the biggest things to note is that she has mastered core control from diligently practicing proper form. Core control is not easy for many, and even though Jenny initially had trouble with her core and spine, her form is now stellar. Just the other day she laughed and smiled with pride stating, “all of a sudden I got so strong”.
Her confidence and perseverance can especially be seen in her b participation in the CrossFit Open and in the near future, competing in the Battle of the Sexes at Titan CrossFit. Her dedication and athletic abilities have motivated and encouraged others around her, especially her daughter who wants to work out every time she is brought to the gym!
She really is a jack of all trades, from being a wonderful and caring wife and mother, to a phenomenal athlete, to the women's class resident attorney providing legal advice to the ladies in the women’s class. Not to mention, she’s an amazing host and throws awesome pool parties!
Jenny really is an incredible, hardworking, and good-hearted person, who has not only added a great deal to our ladies class community but to our gym as a whole! So, please join us in congratulating her as our AOM for July 2016!
