On the Road Again to Spring Fever Master's Competition in Pennsylvania!

Here we go again!  We are proud to have sent two teams up to Pennsylvania to compete in the Spring Fever Master's Competition in Souderton, PA.  The event was hosted by CrossFit Apex, home of 2009 CrossFit Games winner, Tanya Wagner.

Coach Mike and Coach Eric competed in the Men's age 35-44 division.  Tracey and Coach Kim competed in the 35-44 women's division.  We were excited and hopeful for a great competition.

There were four tough workouts throughout the day.  The competition had great programming, testing all our athletes across a broad range of domains.   All the competitors truly personified  what CrossFit is truly about-  so competitive and talented but supportive.  In light of the incredible amount of talented athletes, the CFCM teams expected to go out and have fun.

We are proud that both teams exceeded expectations!  Coach Mike and Coach Eric took second place in the floater workout ---- 4 min max calories on the assault bike while your partner held a handstand hold ---- to propel themselves to a 6th place finish overall just out off the finals. This was Coach Eric's first competition and the men's team had a great time in a tough field of competitors.

Tracey and Coach Kim also faced an incredibly deep field of talented women.  They took fourth in the floater workout and 4th in the lifting complex, putting on a display of their strength!  The women finished tied for 7th.  All four athletes traveled together to compete and all celebrated with Philly cheese steak and birch beer.  It was an amazing opportunity to compete together and alongside phenomenal athletes.  We will be back next year!
