COACH ALyssia GRAVES
Alyssia began CrossFit in 2015. At that time she was finishing her cheerleading career and wanted to try something new to stay in shape. The skills that she learned through competitive cheerleading and gymnastics has helped her in her CrossFit training. When she first began CrossFit, Alyssia was focused on losing weight. Over time she learned that CrossFit is not about body image, but being the best athlete and person she can be. What Alyssia loves most about CrossFit is the community. Alyssia’s passion lies with teaching people the importance of fitness and how it can not only benefit people physically, but also mentally and emotionally. She has also enjoyed working with kids and helping them become more active. Her favorite benchmark workout is Helen and her favorite movement is overhead squat.
